Adam was well aware of this quality in him even as a child and always had hopes to use it in a big way someday. Adam took his first step when he was 17 years old to venture into the comedy scene and started of as a stand up comedian in clubs.
He was studying in the Manchester Central School and there he took over the center stage in the Boston Comedy Club. Success did not come easily to Sandler and he had to work his way up from a scratch. Being born in a simple family, he had big dreams or himself. He continued to study and later joined New York University in Fine Arts. He continued to nurture his talent by performing stand up comedy shows in various clubs. While at college, Adam managed to get a recurring role in the Cosby Show, which set the stage for him to enter into Hollywood. After that Adam moved to LA in search of more opportunities where he was soon discovered by Dennis Miller, who recommended the star to the Saturday Night Live.
There was no looking back for Adam after that and he went on to star in big movies like Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison.
