History Of Adam Sandler
Adam Sandler is a Virgo by birth and he was born on September 9, 1966. He was born in a Jewish family and his mother, Judy, was a nursery school teacher and father, Stanley Sandler, was an electrical engineer. |
The Adams family moved to Manchester when he was 5 years old. He went to the Manchester Central High School and later attended New York University for Fine Arts.
Adam was restless even as a child to do something creative and productive. At a young age of 17 he started performing in clubs and also in school charity shows as a stand up comedian. He continued to do so until he found his success in New York. Adam did not directly venture into Hollywood movies. He had to work very hard to get there.
Adam did not set out with the idea of becoming a Hollywood actor right from the start but it just happened to him. Adams first show was the Cosby Show and he got selected for a repetitive role in it. It was a small role but he was happy as it was his first break. Later, Adam moved to Los Angeles to find more work where he was discovered by the Saturday Night Live show organizers. After he was featured in Saturday Night Live, he had offers pouring in and one of his first movies like Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison were Hollywood box office hits. They grossed over $100 million making him a superstar over night which was just the beginning for Adam.
