He has constantly been in the limelight for the wrong and right reasons. Brad Pitt has been nominated twice for Academy Awards and has been a Golden Globe Award winner.
Brad Pitt first began his career in a soap opera called Dallas on CBS channel in 1987. His first break into Hollywood was through Thelma and Louis starring Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis. It was a road movie and went on to become a big hit. Although Brad had a small role in the film, his acting prowess was noticed.
After that came some of Pitt's leading and most successful roles in movies like A River Runs Through It, Interview with the Vampire, and Legends of the Fall. It was Legends of the Fall along with Anthony Hopkins that won his first Golden Globe Award. There have been a series of movies thereafter and most of them were major hits through out.
Brad had several relationships in his personal life with very famous women like Gwyneth Paltrow. The relationship went on for a year and then they broke up. Brad Pitt later married Jennifer Anniston and they were together for five years but never had any kids. Brad Pitt is now with Angelina Jolie and they have six children among which three have been adopted.
