Brad Pitt was born in Shawnee in Oklahoma. He was born on December 18, 1963 and raised in Springfield, Missouri. Brad Pitt was born in a middle class family to Jane Etta Hillhouse and William Pitt. His father worked in the management cadre of a trucking firm in Missouri and that is why the family had to move to Missouri from Oklahoma. |

Brad has two siblings, a younger brother named Douglas and a younger sister named Julie Neal Pitt. Brad went to the Kickapoo High School in Missouri and he was known to be a very active student. He participated in the school choir, was a part of the debate team, swimming team and drama club. He also participated in all kinds of sports like basketball and golf. After school, he attended the University of Missouri but suddenly left school just two credits short of completing his course there. He took up journalism in the school and was not inclined in completing it. Today, he does not regret the decision of not having completed the journalism course because he is doing what he loves the most.
Before joining the movies Brad led a small town boy kind of life where he had to work as chauffeur, pool boy and do several odd jobs. He started working at the age of 17 and had to do it for financial strife. It was in California he worked as a chauffeur for a limousine service to make ends meet while he was trying to get a break in movies or TV shows.
