Biography Of Terri Seymour
Theresa Helene Seymour was born in 1974 in Hertfordshire, England. Her mother is English and her father is unknown. There is speculation that her father could be an African American. She grew up in Buckinghamshire and she began modeling at age 12. She was featured in many fashion magazines including Elle, Marie Claire, Vogue, and GQ. |

Initially, she started her career as a model and she appeared in a few catalogues and later in commercials. She became a co-host of ‘Wheel of Fortune’ a TV program on British TV. This was a game show was produced by Scottish Television for the ITV network. It ran from July 1988 to December 2001. Terri Seymour was a co-host for this game show in 2001 while Paul Hendy was the host. In the American version of the show, they had numbers on the wheel corresponding to the amount of money won by the participants. But the British version had points system and these points were used to determine the winner.
She appeared in a television film ‘In the Beginning’ in 2000 and she had a small role in a British film ‘24 Hour Party People’ made in 2002. This film is about the popular music community of Manchester from 1976 to 1992. It is a combination of real events, rumors and legends of that era. Several people had made cameo appearances in the movie. Terri Seymour also had a similar cameo role. She has been a correspondent on the news show ‘Extra’ in United States. She joined the program as freelance reporter covering ‘American Idol’ and later was promoted as a full time correspondent.
She is linked with Simon Cowell, who has been a judge of ‘The X Factor’, ‘American Idol’ and ‘Britain’s got talent’. These shows are for identifying singing talent. He is also the owner of television production and music publishing house Syco. Terri Seymour had a relationship with Simon from 2002 and they split in Sept 2008. However, it is reported that they have patched up.
