It is learnt from an unauthorized biography, “The Second Coming of Steve Jobs”, that Steve jobs have been dating Joan Baez and that they were more than just friends. Jobs would have married Baez if her age would not have been as old as forty-one. Chances for the couple to have children and having a family sounded bleak. So he decided not to go in for the marriage.
Steven married Laurene Powell on March 18 in the year 1991. His wife was nine years junior to him. His marriage was presided over by Kobun Chino Otogowa. He was a Zen Buddhist. They had three children by this marriage. In 1978 Lisa Brennan was born to Chrisann Brennan and Steve Jobs. She was a Bay Area painter who was in relation with Jobs. Although Steve Jobs had claimed to be sterile at that time and denied his paternity or her being his daughter, he later on acknowledged the fact and accepted.
