Prince Harry was educated at independent schools throughout UK starting at Mrs. Jane Mynor's Nursery School at London. Following the footsteps of his elder brother, Harry attended Wetherby School in London and Ludgrove School in Berkshire. After passing the entrance exam he was admitted to Eton College. Though the decision to place Harry at Eton College went against the family convention of sending royal children to Gordonstoun (Scottish co-educational independent school), to make the Prince follow in the Spencer family footsteps Prince was admitted at Eton. At Eton, he studied mathematics, geography, biology and social science at A-level. In 2003, he passed out of Eton College after getting two A-grades, one B-grade and a D-level in geography. In school he was an active sportsman and took interest in sports such as polo, rugby union and swimming.
After graduation from Eton, he took a gap of one year during which he spent time in Australia working on a cattle station. He also traveled to Lesotho in South Africa where he worked with orphan children. In 2005 prince followed the family tradition by enrolling at Sandhurst Royal Military Academy. He graduated in April 2006, by becoming a second lieutenant in British Army. After that, the prince was deployed with his regiment in Afghanistan. He fought on the frontline of Afghanistan as a commissioned tank commander. However, he was pulled out of the war as the news of his deployment was leaked by some news channels and websites. His deployment on the warfront makes him the first person from the royal family to experience actual war.
