He also released an autobiography called Stone Cold Truth.In one of the editions of Raw, in 2009 January, he was introduced as the greatest super star of all time in WWE by Vince McMahon. During this introduction, several people started chanting for one more match. However, Stone Cold declined and said that he was officially out of wrestling, and he is about to begin a new chapter in his life. At Wrestle Mania XXV, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He also entered the ringside wearing a vintage Austin shirt and also drove an ATV. He stepped into the ring and toasted his fans.
All his fans chanted that they will never forget the beginning of the Austin Era, and also the end. When Austin was not contesting he was also acting as a referee in matches. However, that was only for a brief while.
Stone Cold Steve Austin was married three times and when his third wife left him, it was brought to light the fact that he physically abused her. Austin was also arrested for domestic violence. However, his other former wives have never brought into light any incidents of domestic violence. Austin has two daughters from his second wife and they live with his former wife Jeannie in London.
