Vince McMahon is a wrestling promoter and was born on August 24, 945 in Pinehurst, North Carolina. As the son of Vince J. McMahon, he took over his father's company and promoted it make it into a multi-million dollar business that it is today. |
He did love wrestling, and wanted to fight in the ring himself. However, his father always preferred that Vince should be an announcer and run the show.Vince was very creative so he used a play by play tactic to announce the show. McMahon has created some of the biggest names in the wrestling industry like Hulk Hogan, and he was also responsible for creating the Hulkamania.
McMahon also tapped the potential in wrestlers like the rock and pop stars like Alice Cooper and Cyndi Lauper. However, he never got much into the ring himself except if the story line demanded it. He was seen in the story line more when his own family was involved. For example, he was involved in the story line that had his daughter Stephanie and when she was kidnapped by Triple H. He even came into the ring along with his daughter to say good bye to wrestling. That was Stephanie’s last match.
McMahon won wrestling championships and was also the title holder. McMahon Married Linda his childhood sweetheart, and has two children, Shane and Stephanie. He lives in Greenwich of Connecticut along with his family. He also has a home in New York City. Currently Linda McMahon is running for the senate as the Republican Party candidate.
